I saw that one too.  Very nice bit of kit.  If oakwoodtv is interested I will refrain from bidding.

They are some munters. I wonder would they be any good for a bio processor. I would imagine the workings are probably metal.
If someone was building a real big processor, they might be a cheap enough option.

99p Stuart Turner in Feltham

Looks like a 903, good pumps, 80lpm 5bar.

I can pick it up ready for onward travel as It's just down the road from me.
I'm off to Summerset later this month if that helps.

Thinking about it I may have a punt myself (if it's still cheap).

There's a manual on the wiki ... which states 27Kg with motor.

MS Mono in Hereford, looks like it's been recently painted and postage is a bit pricey, but may be worth a punt.

Painting over threads and bolt heads gives me bit of an eye twitch I must admit!

Only wants top notch because it's painted, bet the insides aren't shiny and new.

If you can keep it under 30kg and you book through ebay, you can buy Parcelforce 48 for about £12

If you buy it from the Post Office, it's over £40

ps. I'm a bit disappointed in Tony for not noticing the little message for him in the listing for the pump I just sold.

Call yourself a pumpophile Tony?

Ahhahahahahaha!  ;D

Jet pumps don't show up in my carefully crafted searches, now if it had been a multistage Calpeda *drool*

Sent a message to the seller of the mono pump and he
regularly drives down the M1 so he will bring it
Derby way if I win the auction so no postage to factor in

I did a page on Mono MS's here ... http://www.biopowered.co.uk/wiki/Pump_-_Mono_MS

Seller doesn't say if the pump works.  Might be worth asking if he knows, but tell him not to run the unit dry.
Spares are readily available, but a bit expensive.  Most likely problem will be the stator circa 50 quid (Viton stators are available to replace the standard Nitrile ones).  Only other parts that go are the rotor (lots of money, but last a long time)and the seal ... see the page above for referbing.

They are great pumps.  If you can get it at a good price you won't regret it!

Couple of whoppers - going for not much! London way.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Single-Phase-1-5-water-pump-swiming-pool-kitchen-fish-pool-bolier-room-/321183443703

was just looking at those, but they must be high flow and very low head / pressure

one is 0.75kw and the other is 0.25kw.... a tam 105 is 0.3kw

still great for bio tho... just no good for what I want :-(
