Me too.  A prime of pumps has a certain ring to it.  Almost like a pride of lions, but with more impellers.

I've got a whirlpool bath on ebay for someone at the moment and it has a wicked pump on it, the woman said that we can go halves if the bath sells if not I'll get a cheap pump.

Surely the 'prime of pumps' only is correct if the pumps are self primimg.

What sort of logic is that ... you're just not taking this seriously are you?

On the same basis a herd of elephants would exclude those that are deaf, a gaggle of geese would exclude those that don't gag and a drove of donkeys would be completely meaningless as none of them can grip the steering wheel.

Embarrassingly that means the few of us who frequent this site have, on average, each view the thread around 2000 times ... think we all need to get out more!

I'm trying to work out whether that is a good or bad thing!

think we all need to get out more!

Only if "going out" involves travel to purchase more pumps, of course :)

You're in the denial phase.  That's OK.  You're always welcome at Pumps Anonymous.

439 time simply means you are only a quarter as sad as the rest of us.

The bath didn't sell so I now have a whirlpool bath with a big pump  8)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272212777739?ssPageName=STRK:MEUNSOLD:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1562.l2649

I've been thinking how it could be adapted for use with the hot tub for the BBB, I'll have to have a good spy on it when I get chance, if not I have a big pump to add to my collection.
