Serious pump and houseing = offers
« on: February 16, 2013, 07:26:01 PM »
hi guys

this baby just came up and it was used on a lift in an old bods home, it pumps hydraulic oil, so maybe good for veg oil etc, got a big gauze filter on the end and vales and stuff i think on the top to...

its not mine but been asked to see if anyone is interested here, they want an earner out of it, there maybe a nother not sure yet?

its about 2 foot long, and i think you chuck the lot into tank so was submerged i believe.

looks like it would chew veg up and spit it out no worries...

any use?

that gauze filter i would guess is 3 inches wide

the left hand side thing looks like a hand cranking part (looks same on my van tail lift)

update that pump has been weighed in now, but here is another with tank

the base in this isnt flat if i remebrr its a V shape to center

tank would make a nice emptying vessel outside the shed to tip oil in, rough filter then pump it into shed.

of a water butt for washing...

The only downside to that is the pump is 3 phase (415V). If you're geared up for it ...no issues. Nice find though.

they dont mind splitting the tank from pump, they get alot of money for pump, mass of copper in it and heavy metal top price.

guess then tank maybe the nice bit for some one, up the side of a shed bio room etc.

Do you know what frame size the 3ph motor is?  If it's 71 frame for example it could easily be replaced.
