Why the swap back - you seemed pretty keen on the offroad stuff?
I was, I had great fun, but the disco was suffering.
It got to the point that it needed welding, again, even parts that had been patched in the past will need attention soon.
I don't regret owning it at all, I do regret not keeping up with the maintenance due to time and money, so it was time to move it on while it still had some value and before it was just a parts car.
The Audi although smooth, quiet, powerful and economical (48 mpg showing at present) just isn't as enjoyable to drive, it's missing that feel good feeling, but has no rust (that I've found) and should be far more reliable.
