If our brilliant hosts accept the offer/idea and we get a proper pool can we have a diving board as well?

You don't have to build a 10m board, I'll put up with a piddling 5m.

Ok then but can we test the velocity and trajectory with the occasional Womble, if we can hit the pool 9 times out of 10 after you I'll be first.

Nah, Wombles only exist in our world, if someone rang the RSPCA and reported Womble abuse they'd send the men in white coats round.

If you guys do go for an intex or bestway steel framed pool, dont bother with the ground sheet. It is just a round tarp. You could do much better with old carpet, a huge tarp or, if somebody has some, some kingspan/celotex/polystyrene

I have got the solar cover for mine though. To be fair it is just a round sheet of very heavy duty bubblewrap that floats on the water but it is surprisingly effective at trapping the suns heat in the water during the day

Is there some one to carry out a full risk assessment of the activity's.
And has full thourt been given to the health and safety aspect of the proposed activity's.

Good thinking ... I probably need to do a risk assessment with regards to transporting this pump.  I know they're not cheap ... shall we say 100 quid up front?

I thought I was nominated the BBB health and safety rep.

Full risk assesment carried out, if it does not involve excessive risk you are not allowed to do it.

Method statements are submitted for all activities friday night while drinking Vince's cider, funniest one, which involves outrageous power tools, operator being the earth return path. This not an exhastive list and I may add more conditions for extra hilarity.

I am the first aider although I was thrown off the course for trying to give annie love bites and blowing in the wrong hole.

Don't forget your 5 point PPE:
Hairy Chest
Boxers
Bottle opener
Braising torch with mapp gas or oxy (needed for searing steaks)
Wellies

For ladies and those that have yet to go through puberty Burt Reynolds style chest wigs will be provided.

See if that satisfies him Richard

I'm a first aider, but as it'll me that will need treatment it may not work that well.

And I'm a full time Womble, not an occasional Womble.
