It shouldn't be a big problem to find out who did the break in, RM. A bit of a guess and a few "enquiries" around the cheaper end of town. The plod probably ain't gonna do anything, even if they know who did the break in.
Wonder if any of it will end up in car boot sales. Maybe a bit early in the year for them.
im disgusted in forensic guy and community support officer lady, so yeah your right there, we all ready put the feelers out just waiting to see what pops up, we got our own thoughts on this, the burglar may not of been the person wanting all the keys? nothing else was touched in the house, stayed down stairs. no draws opened jewelry and cash left. took small flat screen tv and laptop on way back out door only. left 3 phones next to keys, 1 brand new expensive one, burglar never took power cords for tv or laptop (so useless and an idiot)
he has a 3 grands worth land rover discovery
21 grand brand new works truck cab pickup/tipper, 4 grands worth of kit in it
06 plate skoda fabia
vw t4, old work truck
pug 306 convertable (converted to veg oil from petrol)
he is now swapping trucks with one of the other 20 they have at work, and its in a lockup for safety till keys and code change, i blocked his 2 cars in with my big boxer van till locks sorted at home on drive...
on a side note the discovery keys and alarm is being done by a guy coming out. we phoned landrover to get 2x codes from reg number, then given to key man and he makes an original key before coming out, he will open door then strip locks apart door and ignition, reconfigure barrel pins in both and make a new key on job in his van and reset code alarm fob with new circuit baord, = £250
