Greetings all biodesels.
« on: September 06, 2012, 10:05:09 PM »
Hello to all there!
Been making the desel for a while and it is the good solvent on all oils.
Right now I have like a 'butt plug' earwax and thinking better than the oilive oil is the biodesel to soften it and fall out. Eureka?

Of course I make sure the methenol is not there  or further rotting my bad brain.
So bad my wax is I nearly go for methoxide cure :D

Sure, I let you know if desel deafness come on! :)

LOL!

That's a completely new one on me... but question for you - did you put the wax into the settle drum for the next batch - because that would be hardcore!

I can honestly say such a use would never occur to me, and knowing how nasty it tastes I'd be rather reluctant to stick it in any bodily orifices ;)

Ah well, so much for my cryptological coup de grace. Reinvented for 15 minutes or so.

The ref. was from William Golding's "Lord of the Flies". I have used it before, drawing a parallel to the recent type of silliness on, what appears to be known as, the other side?

Ah yes I did wonder if perhaps you'd been at the illicit herbology before posting, and had to google. Seems apt. My missus keeps saying I should read it.

I think I did it for O level sylabus and then re-read it 20 odd years later. Good book, most prophetic / apt.

The ear wax thing was semi-serious as well due to 2 weeks of enforced daily swimming.

Now, will I grow into my even more foolish user name, accept it as a pun-ishment?

On first pass it does look like a Borat miss-spelling of some recycling company.

I was forced to read 1984 and other "dull" books at school, which I've greatly enjoyed re-reading in later life.  Got bit of a taste for the retro books now and love some of the golden old sci-fi like "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep", "I Am Legend" and "The Midwich Cuckoos" - the latter I can't recommend enough, brilliant story.

As for the film interpretation of I Am Legend, don't get me started!  Grrr.  Loved the book bits about struggling to get fuel out of abandoned petrol station buried tanks.  Can see how that would be hard without electricity.

My favourite palindrome of all time is "Meet animals; laminate 'em."

Still makes me chuckle!
