Thats very kind of you, im between Oxford and Cheltenham, probably easiest if i arrange a courier if it suits you?

sounds good to me

I'll PM you my work address and you can get it picked up whenever suits you

(it's bloody heavy mind)

let me dig it out first and I'll get you dimensions/weight :-)

EDIT: I could stick it on a small pallet and send it to you like that, it's normally under £20 for 3 day service

That's a rather nice gear pump, do you think it would pump potassium glyc (for, say, a burner nozzle)?

I dare say some kind of bypass valve might be required to not deliver 12lpm of glyc into the flame :)

To only success I've had with pumping glyc for a burner nozzle was with a car windscreen washer gear pump, but that kept slipping the gears on the motor shafts with liquid as dense as glyc.  I've also tried a dispensing machine vane pump (popped the front cover circlips off), so I've been hunting a small gear pump...

But, that said, with the house move and the work the new place requires, I very much doubt I'll have time to play with atomising burners for a while.

(car is on a trailer, van has no engine)

but.. I'm tidying up this weekend so will be able to get it out then no problem :-)
