Beddington Eh!  Better take someone to ride shotgun or I'll come out with no wheels!

I thought Ebay sent an email giving the sellers details as soon as you'd won.  If you can get the guy's phone number, I can contact him direct.

I now have possession of an M25 Mono ... so not an MS ... I thought it looked slightly different!  I'd guess it's the forerunner of the MS, so probably quite old.

The chap said it works OK and he'd used it for irrigating his garden with grey water.  Nice chap, bit of a home engineer, lathe, band saws, table saw welder etc, etc and a confirmed hoarder of things mechanical.

I noticed on getting it home the thread in the suction post is very badly rusted (had the same problem with one of the MMs I have).  I think I may have a suitable tap ... do you want me to clean it up?

Let me know what you want me to do with it.  I should be attending the BBB, but as it seems to be a long one, we maybe need to liaise to make sure we don't miss each other.

Yes please if you can run a tap down to clean the threads I would be grateful.

As for the BBB I hope to go down Friday morning and leave Sunday about noon.

But its a long way off yet will confirm closer to the date.

Regards Richard.

you know those £23 tam copies on ebay.....  one of mine burst into flames :-(

but... I've been off for a few days with a bad back, and there's a good chance the impeller was jammed on a stone and they just left it turned on / ignored it

fitted another.... time will tell :-)

I replaced the one that caught fire with another one (I bought 4) and.... it has smoke coming out of it after 10min use

going to return them all for a refund !

good idea to avoid these, especially if you're making bio / there's fumes around !
