I now have two brand new filter elements for the Bestway pump and have managed to find some 1 1/4" hoses and clips knocking around so I will being that up and donate to Chug for this year and years to come. That should help, along with the Chlorine, to keep the water rather more pleaant

I've had pie and chips but never tried pie and sawdust with or without mustard and pickles.

I had a look at the burner in between showers and it's not playing ball, I suspect the controller and I may have another that fits so I will dig it out and see, otherwise I'm gonna get my electro oil burner and see if that will fit into the boiler casing. Also scanning ebay for cheap replacement, I'm watching one in Devizes ATM......... Vin?

When does it end?  Would you like me to bring the M67 and associated gubbins?

I can't really remember how much we got through last year - but it wasn't quite as much as expected (and we burnt some with that ridiculous DIY syphon nozzle).  I remember having to get out of the hot tub to refuel the heater a few times each evening and I think it uses 5l at a time or so, so I image 50l covers a whole weekend?

we've spent a busy weekend between the showers getting things ready for next weekend, got a few things to do during the next few days but the main things like grass cutting and strimming and hedgecutting are done.

My boiler uses about 12 -15L fuel a day (if it runs!) to keep the pool toasty warm.

I seem to remember the M67 used a similar amount last year.

Pray for good weather as the field's got pretty waterlogged after being nicely dry for the last few weeks, I will have some tarps on standby!

There'll be the usual Lawn Rovers to pull people out, we may even give Pete a tow in his jap crap.

I'll have my strop and D shackles at the ready, the down side is I've only got road tyres on at present.

Nice one with the filter Jules, the pool came with a basic filter thing but your one is probably better

Dolphin, we have lots of sawdust, knighty brought two massive bags last year and they are still sat where he left them.

Tractor on standby, but it was nice today and I was up the field getting Mahli's Polo ready for its MOT, she has her driving test on Thurs! and the field is a bit better and the weather this week is not supposed to be too bad and at weekend there is only possible showers on sat from 4 -7pm, so fingers crossed.
But I will know more when I give the grass its final cut on Wed or Thurs

For some reason I thought Mahli had passed her test.

Wasn't she driving last year ?

Well wish her luck for me, and good luck with the MOT as well.
