If you're refering to the items linked to, yes nice kit. I don't think the side reflectors are required but wouldn't hurt if you fitted'm.

Yes it is the one i have on my caravan. I am very pleased with mine and it works very well. It is also very light compared to a framed panel.

Ged, I have some scales at work which will measure the weight of the trailer for you. they are sunken into the floor, but if you want me to load it up with fuel I can do before you have it back?
Doing the jerry can holders out of ally, so they will be nice and light :-)

so, some progress.

simon stripped the floor and sides off as they were either rotted, or on their way. the chassis was in good nick, but he future proofed it by reinforcing it with extra struts. (25mm box ) section



the floor was replaced with 4mm chequer plate, siliconed and tech screwed all round.



next, the carry box for three jerry cans to carry pump diesel in  :o

again made from 25mm box and 7 inches deep. will have high density foam lining to stop rattle and lateral strap to keep them in place.



plenty of space to clear the lid.



and some new sides all round, with the alloy caps and runners replaced.



off to collect it tomorrow, then will sort out the wiring and a few other bits to make it exactly what i want.

stripped it and wire brushed the chassis down today.

gave it a coat of aldi metal care paint (4:99 per litre)



then i cracked out the aldi matt silk (nope never heard of it either) dark green and set to work on the sides.



three coats each and turned over for the inside. (left over light grey matt silk from aldi, again £4.99 per L)



then to the GRP roof.

got the sander out and gave it a quick stroke, then more of aldi`s best dark green (3 coats)



came out ok...



and seeing as i still had a third of a tin left i started on the roofbox



will touch up the black borders on the sides and start putting it back together tomorrow.

found this in a skip



so drilled the base and fitted it ready for the electrics.



put the sides back on..complete with pipe lagging glued in place to seal the lid.



and dropped the lid on till it dries...
