Looking good chug. Mine smokes like that when out of the boiler.
Inside a boiler casing the airflow changes considerably so I suspect it will run fine.
Just dont run it up inside the boiler until you have the boiler full of water.

The lump hammer was there coz I was using it as a support to hold a funnel up to filter some bio.
