Julian...why don't you run the golf on bio in the winter...or are you running some sort of blend?

Before I put the heated filter on the current Disco, I spent several hours swabbing out the tank on the old Disco, two winters running.  In sub zero temperatures it's a decidedly unpleasant task which I don't intend to repeat.

I once had to clean out the tank on my Disco and decided never again.
I have got through the last two winters without any problems by only using feedstock that stays liquid at low temps, water washing and then adding cold flow additive.
At least, on a disco there is a means of getting into the tank to clean it.

I think I've screwed it up...tried to remove it but messed that up as well...sorry. Help!

I give up ... I ask you to do a simple ... (and breathe)

No problem Nige, I think you pasted in the middle of the header row.  You can always roll back anything you've done on the wiki by going to history and clicking rollback next to your recent entry.  I've just done that for you.  Have another go but paste your contribution after the last able entry but before the category bumph at the bottom.

Huge thanks Julian. I'll have another go as I've 3 more entries to make. Remember you're dealing with a dumbass here ;D

Would it be an idea to use mileage instead of time for period of use? It gives a more realistic overview of your experiences.

Certainly would, good point.  In my case it will take a lot of ferreting around to find the numbers though!

I'll alter the table later today to accommodate it.

I've managed to make my entries now Julian. I can see where I went wrong.

Just an idea to keep the page "clean and viewer" friendly...would it be a good idea as the page grows to reorganise the data in block order ie Ford, VAG, Peugeot etc.

I had similar thoughts when putting it together, but I just wanted to throw something up quick and easy to start with.  The pages success will rely on people populating it which is often proves difficult.

I recently and found a wiki where the table will sort columns alphabetically when you click on the header, so that might be the way to go.  It will make it easy for contributors to simply add entries at the bottom of the list, but offer the facility for viewers to sort into make, model, fuel type etc.

Well, I've managed to get a sortable table added to the bottom of the page, but it has a couple of  problems ...

Jame's entry seems to mess up the last cell in that row, spacing within the cells seems a little unpredictable and if you try and sort on the year, it locks up.

Help! anyone able to see where I've cocked up, 'cos I'm dammed if I can?

That table at the bottom of the page looks really good.
