I'll remember that comment next time you are down in Cornwall scrounging for some fuel for the way home Mark :)

Err, well, umm, ahh, well, cough.
You yourself have said that they're not the most relyable of vehicles.
But I must say you also have a knack of fixing them.
Skoda Yeti L&K 2L TDI 150 CR DPF Adblue, running pimp diesel.
VW Golf SV 1.4 TSI DSG.

56 Vectra on about 25% bio until 1. I get my process perfected, and 2. I get a better idea of how much bio ends up in the engine oil after the dpf regenerates.

1996 LandRover Discovery 300Tdi
1997 RangeRover P38 2.5DSE (2.5 6 cylinder diesel engne same as BMW 525TDS & Vauxhall Omega)

Lots of breakdowns and repairs on both but very few have been fuel related, The event Jim refers to at the BBB was the XYZ position switch on the side of the RangeRover's automatic gearbox falling to pieces just as I arrived.

As the person trying to find stuff amongst my junk to help Jules, I can testify to his patience and ingenuity in fixing the part, the sort of thing that's not really meant to come apart and full of springs and ball bearings type of job, and the same with taking a laptop apart and putting it all back together.

Mitsi Delica here for 5+ years.

Started on veg/dino mix, then commercial bio (which was rubbish and damaged the injection pump, which I eventually replaced), then homebrew biodiesel.  Fuel related failures have been filter blockages, air ingress, or melted pipes.  No engine/combustion related problems at all.

Made a start on the wiki page here ...http://www.biopowered.co.uk/wiki/Members_vehicles_running_biodiesel_or_vegetable_oil

Welcome any comments.

To save me ploughing through pages of html stuff, can anyone add the code to limit/regulate the width of the cells?

Would contributors to this thread mind completing the information required in the following between the td tags and either paste direct into the wiki page of post in this thread and I'm sure someone will add it to the page.

Try and keep the problems and cure sections concise and to the point.

Don't use this code ... see further on in this thread or look on the wiki page (format now sortable)
<tr>

<!--Year-->   <td></td>

I give up ... I ask you to do a simple ... (and breathe)

No problem Nige, I think you pasted in the middle of the header row.  You can always roll back anything you've done on the wiki by going to history and clicking rollback next to your recent entry.  I've just done that for you.  Have another go but paste your contribution after the last able entry but before the category bumph at the bottom.

In all fairness I've already added the changes you just asked Nige to retry, so just this once I got a foot in the door first.

Did you do anything to regulate the width of the cells?  Your entry seems to have wrapped within the cells ... it didn't when I was setting it up?

Oh, must be magic!

There's what I think is an overall width that I've just increased to 900 px, but after that I guess it must just sort itself out within the table.  Gosh, computers are wonderful!
