I just hope he has backed up the database and it all goes well, should know before too long now anyway, it's gotta be a big file to upload but shouldn't take that long hopefully.

If it's on the same server it should just require dumping the mysql database to a file to preserve it, then doing whatever conversion is necessary.  But given no admin are logged into the mybb site it might be offline for other reasons.

The best thing to do would be to test the migration on an offline PC using a copy of the database, then upload that offline converted database to bring up the new site.

Found the recent posts button. It lists them as individual messages rather than as topics like before.
