Hi William
It's the cold weather that's making the Glyc go cold , in the summer the sodium based catylist should stay liquid but at this time of year it does set
I had a load delivered 13ibc's on saterday , when delivered all liquid but now half of them have gone solid so need heating to use .

Mine stays liquid while it still has methanol in but, once used for glyc wash, it solidifies within a couple of days.

My first stage glyc goes solid within a few days. I use this to glyc wash my next batch and I'm forced to put it on the turk to liquify it.

The amount of methanol in it seems to make little difference. I scrimped with 15% meth on Batch 1 (solid glyc) used 20% in Batch 2 (solid glyc) and back to 15% for Batch 3 (solid glyc).

Now just another step to the process.
