A pipette is used to dispense a fixed amount of solution such as 10ml, 25ml etc. I have never seen a proper one with a scale on it, they are also calibrated at a fixed temperature usually 20C (though I believe that can vary hotter countires may use 25C for example).

When titrating you should use a burette which is calibrated to measure in, for example, 0.1ml (for a 25ml version).

Using a burette does make it much much easier and can allow you to run multiple tritrations one after another with ease.
