How nice to have a whole day on my own, at a nice temp, instead of being rushed and working to the wee hours. The luxury!
Therefore, time to try something I've been meaning to do and photograph it / measure stuff, a bit.
This photos is post glyc wash of 200L of wvo; you can see approx 1/3rd of the glyc. has gone. Nice!

Next to try is....see how much we can load the wvo with meth (suspected watery meth...) Take approx. 10L of the glyc just drained from the glycwash and add about 6L of the meth, thus:

Ooo! it looks like this now.

Introduce via the pre-pump 'hopper' system.

Mix for an hour, stand for another hour and drain carefully... and we get back this. (Ignore the cubie on the left, that's not included.)

Looks like over half the meth has migrated, there's about 10L in that there 200L of oil. Nice! Just to add, around 3% of the wvo volume was 'bio to be recycled'; bio used as parts washer fluid for oily bicycle parts. That extra bio component in the wvo may have assisted the meth to "cross over", i.e. betterer than pure wvo would have...no what I mean?
Mix methoxide, just under 15L for the 180L batch at 16%, first stage (10% wvo removed). Instantly turns to "red diesel". If it's wet meth, as suspected, why turn red? Mixing NaOH and water gives a clear or milky solution? Anyone else had this?

To be continued. Need a beer. For safety reasons.
