I'm sure there is a farm foods around here somewhere. Tesco are still doing their offer, but most the time, they seem to have run out.

I've just mixed a jamjar of half solid oil, and half diesel. It was clear thin liquid this morning. I also put 10% RUG in a sample, and that had gone solid.

They are forcasting -3 later in the week, so I will see what the 50/50 mix looks like then.
For me, its cheaper to do the mix, than buy new oil, if it will stay liquid.

Now running on a 50/50 of reasonably liquid oil and diesel. Got about 50 litres of it, so hopefully will last me till it warms a bit again. It will last me if this snow keeps up, coz I wont be going anywhere..........

morning

well we got a flutter of snow coating across the land here, my mix of fuel at the mo is 50 ltrs good oil (settled/cooked/filtered) + 4 ltrs of miss fuel i had, got abit of a stock i had couple years now.

i know what ya mean about staying put, if your talking of your tranny, rear wheel drive jobbie isnt it.

i was lucky the other day though, needed 4x tyres for me 406, got them fitted/balanced (part worns £100) while i went out on me lunch break, when i checked them the geyser only fitted winter/snow tyres! first time i had these type tyres and what a difference! no slipping about like uisual. 2x of them are winter continentals make! also noticed they are directional so cant swap any from one side to the other.

been on a week and got a dam nail in one, so gonna get it plugged today
