Venturi Adventure 4
It's that time again. The New Year is in and it's time to start planning for this years event.
VA4 will take place around Herefordshire and Worcestershire on Saturday the 4th of May. That's the May Day Bank Holiday weekend.
This years event will be different to the previous three in so much as it will not be mileage based. Following feedback from VA3 it will be a day where we travel together in convoy from place to place, where challenges will be issued in order to maximise your points total. Highest points wins this time. It will be a fresher, new look VA.
We are still at the planning stage at the moment with a start point already mapped in and the first three challenges already in place. The beauty of this new style event is the ability for us to score the teams as we progress through the day instead of the chaos that normally ensues at the end venue.
We are going on our final reccy on the weekend of the 19th of Jan to, hopefully, finish it off.
The start point will be Tesco at Castle Road, Kidderminster, Worcs. Here you'll be able to use their facilities such as toilets, cafe and stocking up on supplies for the day if you wish.
Jayne, Tom and myself hope that previous competitors will sign up as well as new faces. I know there are plenty of brewers and veg users in those two counties who will take up the opportunity to have a great day out and meet up with faces old and new.
