Essentially hydrolysis, why urine is effective isn't mentioned (more conductive due to salts/urea?)

as usual not enough information, no mention of efficiency. i have come across this idea before somewhere. think the salts in urine is the thing that makes it work .there is a paper somewhere from around a year or 2 back describing the chemistry.
