Got something similar growing on the sides of an old collecting wheelybin, but not as good as that!

Always get it in my BCB pot I put all the filtered BCBs into.  I guess it's just food particles going mouldy.

Don't think it's an issue when making bio as the heat probably kills the mould.

You might have a problem with running veg though ... just imagine a quatermass type growth oozing out of your filler cap and engulfing you van, along with innocent passers by.

Just drop the oil in to me and I'll dispose of it in a safe and responsible manner.

HA HA!! Xmas dinner. What film is that from, some old B movie. Seen it I think, but to long ago to remember.

I dunno what that sludge is, I thought the Bio Bug only lived in bio itself, but could be wrong. Looks like a bit of a mould. Splash of domestos might upset it.

That mould forms at this time of year, must be the correct combination of temperature and humidity.  I have quite a growth on the filter that I pour the BCBs from the bottom of drums into (to get every drop of oil).

Of course biodiesel production completely nukes it from orbit, not sure how it affects WVO filtering for fuel. Presumably OK so long as you don't have any in suspension in the oil (it floats on top, right?)

Quatermass and the Pit.  I think that was my first sci-horror movie, scared the crap out of me as a kid!

Quatermass experiment I must have seen. On an old black and white telly I bought for a quid. I think the pit was on the week after the telly went pop.

I'm watching it again:

Keep clicking the top left video option when each segment ends and you'll get the whole lot.  A good film considering its age.

Edit: Comments after the credits
