RSS feeder - new idea!

You know what we could do - automatically post wiki changes as posts into the forum.

That would be useful, surely?

In that case i would be against it  :) i sort of throw everything onto a page and then play about and sort it out at the end (or get help! ) not sure i would want everyone looking at one of my half finished attempts

So you'd be happy depriving everyone of a damned good laugh would you?

Don't forget the facility is already available on the wiki with the "recent changes" link.

Ahrr ... sensitive little sausage!

I'm sure Tony could knock you up you own little play area behind a modesty screen ... do they call them sand boxes (not being a boffin I wouldn't know)

Or you could do it this way ... write all the text in word, so it gets smell and gammer checked, then up load the photos leaving only the layout to play with.  You can make it look like you know what you are doing by not saving, but previewing the page.  That way you can make numerous changes with only one save of the finished page ... err, not that I do it that way, of course.

No that's a good point actually.  WIP is rarely pretty and it's far better to save regular iterations than try (and potentially lose) a lot of work in one go.  I guess for new pages there is nothing to stop proud creators broadcasting them in the forum the old fashioned manual way.

"Takes ages" ... (desperately need to use a laughing smiley, but I'm fighting the temptation) like over a year you mean?  ;D ;D ;D :-X

MOD EDIT: MUST FOLLOW THROUGH IF SMILEYS ARE THREATENED
