That damned warning.
« on: December 14, 2021, 12:17:10 PM »
One very irritating aspect of this and many other sites (VoD is one) is that when you log in there is a 'insecure site' notice that plants itself directly across the log in boxes. It returns with every keystroke.
Why can't it be moved to some spare area out of the way ?

It really winds me up. >:(

I never get that. Must be something to do with your settings.

I do get a warning that the site is not secure but it doesn't get in the way, it's just an exclamation mark in the address bar.

No aware of a browser called Xp.

Do you mean windows XP as a virtual machine on SUSE? If so which browser on XP?

I mixed that up royally.

My operating system is openSUSE Leap 15.1  A version of Linux.

Firefox is the browser

My search engine is duckduckgo (or is that gogoduck, can never remember).

I use that in preference to Google.

I mixed it up as I run Windows XP and Google on my laptop and back up machine.

I thought maybe I was confused...

Do you have any AV software installed that could be interfering  things?

Nothing that I think would cause that.

It does happen on a couple of other sites I visit, seems to be related to the Linux as it doesn't do it on the Windows machines.

I'll just put up with it.

Thanks.
