Karcher pressure washer problem..
« on: January 20, 2021, 04:38:53 PM »
I seem to recall a member of vod was connected somehow with karcher? Maybe a service tech?
Are you on here?
It's an industrial one not a cheap DIY one so worth fixing.
I've done a lot of fiddling and fixed the issues it obviously had but it won't make pressure and I'm pretty sure the issue is with the high pressure pump but there's no info on the net that I can find that helps.
It's a karcher HDS 601C.
Running [if I get enough veg] Defender 200TDI and Winnebago Lesharo (now gone)Range Rover P38 ,and a space heater on home made bio.

No luck finding the guy Bandit?

I'm not sure how helpful they will be but you could contact a company in Sileby, Leicestershire that we supply with chemicals. They are official Karcher dealers, selling and servicing. They may help you over the phone. They are Alpha Power Cleaners.

what's the symptoms?  just low pressure?

not a karcher tech, but I've fixed a few / worked on them quite a bit

how's it feel when you use it?  does it feel like the water pulsing?

that normally means it's the valves... they're not too expensive

if it's just low pressure... I'd say it's the pressure regulator valve thingie... does screwing it in/out make any difference at all?

is it steam too?  fed from a small tank with the float in it?  I've always bypassed those tanks so the pump is fed directly from the mains feed in... you normally need to add in a T piece for the tank return

I'll reply proper when I'm better.

a few months back I was dating a very attractive and pretty frisky woman... I knew it was too good to be true

we were sitting on my sofa one night when she said "look at this" and handed me her phone so show me a text... a text she genuinely believed came from the Chinese secret police... detailing how covid19 was sent my aliens to punish the Chinese for not doing what the aliens tell them to do...  on and on like that   :o

(turns out she also believes the Queen is a shape shifting alien who used to be Dracula... and she eats children too)

yeah... so that was the last time I saw her

Blymee, she must be really gullible!!!

Well she went out with you, has she seen you without the paper bag?

Seeing you without the bag will confirm her worst fears, there are Aliens on Earth.

I'm sorry Jim, it's time to level with you, the real reason for the paper bag is to reduce my peripheral vision so I don't accidentally look at your ugly old face :-(

I was going to try some blinkers like a house uses, but I was worried the leather gubbins at the BBB turning everyone on and me not being safe :-o
