Hi Dave.
The one that I bought is stated as 8kw, but they are really the 5kw units. It's not in the red casing just a stand alone unit to be fitted into a camper but was £85. Not that it matters as they are all the same. Go find  "John wck 47" on you tube and he compares all the heaters together. I know of another who is running one similar to yours on bio with no issues either. Give it a go it's free heat.

Will do Manfred, thanks for the info.

About 10 amps on start up whilst the glo plug is on, then 1 to 2 afterwards. I think quite a few people use power supplys.

Manfred, I checked out that guy but there is nothing on his vids about running on bio.

Sorry Dave I thought there was. Have faith and drain the tank and fill with bio. No harm done in trying. Mine works ok.
With your previous heater did you see soot in the exhaust as mine is spotless.
He suggests to occasionally run the heaters on max to burn off any soot buildup if only using on tickover.

I run my heater on a 12v 20a power supply as I didn't have a spare battery. Theyre cheap enough to buy. My only concern is with the LCD always on the power supply fan is constantly running.
