WH7016C and WH7016E temperature control units...

tony you have a manual on this site, which you may need to warn people!

http://www.biopowered.co.uk/w/images/8/88/WH7016C_instructions.pdf

WH7016C and WH7016E

the C supposed to donate a 12 volt unit and in some cases it does not! and in my case the C means 240 volts!

so items of this nature from china and hong kong, america could be dodgy if someone wires them wrong and cause a fire or explosion on a reactor...

So the manual says C is 12V but really it's 240V?

Presumably worst in that case is 12VDC into a 240VAC rated supply? Much better than the other way around :)

Paul, I put that manual up.  I ordered a 12v dc unit and that's what was delivered.

Could your case just be a one off mistake?

i have been having a row with china guy, he swears blind the C is 12 volt and that what he sent, yes he sent a C version, but its 240v.

been searching ebay for usa ones and china and hong kong and all over im seeing conflicts, so from what im seeing what it says on the tin may not be...

i did the searching to prove this guy wrong i want a 12v one and for me personally to know if i wop 240 volts up her.

the china guy wanted a pic of number and he said yup its 12v i said err no its not dude check the pic out.

my personal view is there being made in different factorys and who gets what is say a batch of that code (either one) and could be 12 or 240 and sold as is.

so cant go on the code to be fully sure...

just thought id mention it peeps... found the manual via google!
