Misfuel available
« on: July 26, 2018, 05:52:38 AM »
Hi All,
I just signed up to offer the spoils of a misfuel to anyone who wants to collect it.

I have two 5 Gallon Jerrycans full of mostly petrol with a low amount of diesel in and about 12 litres of red diesel in a plastic barrel.

Obviously, free to anyone who wants to collect it from Winchester in Hampsire.  I also don't want the containers back.

If you are interested,  please get in touch.

Tim

PS.  Apologies if this post breaks any rules.

It's a kind offer - I'm trying to think of a use for it :)

I've already got 25l of misfuel that's sat around for quite some time.

M67 heater has long languished in the garden gathering rust.  I don't like adding mineral fuels to my bio.  Mower is 4-stroke...

Welcome to the wiki and forum.

No rules broken … we like free stuff on here!

I don't think there are too many people on here in your neck of the woods, but you may have more luck on the VOD ... http://www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk/mybbforum/index.php

Or stick it on ebay at a price people can't refuse.

Hi All,

OK,  thanks for the suggestions. I left it for a while longer in case anybody else on here showed an interest but I think the weekend should be long enough.

Maybe I will try Fleabay,  though I am a little concerned that I could be asking for trouble because of the legal position of storing over the limit of petrol (or does nobody ever get done for that ?).

Mr Admin,  I think it unlikely that I will need access to post in this forum since I have no diesel car any more so if you wish to do some housekeeping you could delete my account.

Thanks again everybody,  happy "Bio-Powering" or whatever you consider it to be.    :D :D

Just seen this.

I know someone in Basingstoke that would be very happy to make use of this and could pick it up from Winchester.

I'm guessing by his last message he's not coming back? Shame we don't have any other contact details for him?

Well I still get emails telling me that there has been a post added to this thread so I guess I'm only partialy gone.    8)

It is now on Ebay but as yet there no bids.  I am happy to withdraw the auction if your contact from Amazingstoke can get here to pick it up.  Frankly,  I just want rid of it.

What is the best way of proceeding ?

Hi Dimgit,

I've passed your e-mail address to endorfin, so I hope he can get in touch.

It might be worth sending him a PM with your phone number as well.

Thanks for thinking of us :)

Excellent result.  Nigel has some motion lotion and I have some space.

Now Mr Admin,  where were we about removing my account ?    :)

Thanks all.  Happy bio-what-notting.

No need to delete from our point of view, unless you have strong views to the contrary.
