My fuel stock brewed before moving house is running out, so time to get on with it!

Bund (aka manky spill area) assembled and awaiting two-part latex...  and I think I'll hang some plastic sheets to catch splashes and redirect into the bund too (judging by the state of the outbuilding walls where I used to live, a good idea!)



Bund would be 540l but for the fact it slopes towards the front of the garage, still - enough to catch a batch if something leaks

 Oh and a new set up. I hope it's warmer down south to be working outside. Two days and my fluffy soap doesn't look like settling any time soon.

About 4C, positively tropical but still enough to slow down the mortar.

I'm down to 100l of bio and the car is empty, at the moment I'm getting through 25l a week so really it's just 4 weeks worth.  If I can get set up soon then enough time to settle a batch for three weeks in the cold!

Ta, tis cheap, and no sharp edges.  Used it for the last bund too (and it saved a few otherwise major spills)!

A true bio enthusiast ... get the plant running before sorting minor things like making the house habitable.  We lived in a building site for many years but I still kept up bio production.

I applied the reasoning that I needed the fuel to go and fetch materials ... not sure she ever believed me though.

When I first visited your place I had to admire your style, the garage was all finished, complete with lathe etc, but the kitchen was far from complete, I seem to remember a scaffold board bridging a hole in the floor like a gangplank.

I'm 62, I've always maintained that an unexpected faceful of bio does wonders for the softness of your facial hair.  Would probably make more money selling it as a tonic than burning it in engines.
