What open impeller pump should i look out for?

Id like to fit an open impeller pump to my reactor.

Although closed impeller certainly put out some flow, my oil is never filtered well enough, and im sick of unblocking them.

I suspect open impeller maxes out at 80-100lpm, but that's fine with me.  Ive resorted to using a tam105 at present, so an upgrade on that is required.

Im too much of a skint flint to think about buying new, so im asking what i should be looking out for on ebay and the like?

No idea if it's open or closed impeller, but I got an almost new TAM120 off ebay for about 40 quid and it's been brilliant.

So much so that emulsions are a serious danger when pump washing.

TAM 120's are closed imp's, but no worries with these baby's, they will keep chewing through any thick oil or glyc. Wonderful things, only downside is the 1500 watts. Massive motor and small pump head, ideal for processing.

1500W!  That's a lot.  I hate to keep blowing the Calepeda trumpet but the MXHM203 does the same for less than a third of the power.

I always thought the 120 was a periferal turbine pump, open BOTH sides.

That would make more sense, smaller open impeller but with more juice behind it.

I had to take the pump head to bits on mine to remove a broken kebab stick, which is how I know on mine it is certainly closed.
