I've a mint metal meth drum.
I'd like a blue plastic one instead!

Well I never! How long have steel drums been supplied in different flavours?

I decanted my Meth in the field at last year's BBB using a borrowed hand syphon.  Supplier had long gone though so didn't get the drum deposit back, took it home and sold it for a tenner.

This year will have family with me so no chance of bring toys or taking chemicals back!

Is there a deposit on the drums then?

No one said anything last year ... I gave my last drum to a mate for free!

I've got a rotary ally hand pump if that'd be useful for decanting?

It makes short work of a 205 and keeps you fit!

So you'll have to be sensible this year then, prolly be the first time most of us will have seen you sober.

I've always been sober, I can't help if the gravity in Chug and Lynda's field doesn't conform to the expected social norms.

Just to clear things up over these drums.
1. there is no deposit
2. if you have a clean empty steel drum to exchange.....bring it along
3. if you want to decant in the field into your own containers you can.

Hope this helps.

Looks like I'll be driving the van this year so you'll have all day to decant.

To clear things up ...

Is the price of methanol lower if we give the chap a spent drum?

If it's any help with people decanting, I can lift drums with a winch on the disco roof rack high enough to drain into 20 ltr containers.  Just need to sort out a suitable pipe and valve arrangement.

I'll be there on the Saturday.

No.

But I can do so out of the kindness of my heart if I so wish?

My man normally is prepared to take a hit on the drums for the sake of the BBB.

He has never insisted on exchanges but it is always encouraged and welcome.

Other methanol suppliers are available.
