Swing top beer bottles
« on: February 12, 2016, 08:23:18 PM »
Cross posted on VOD so apologies if you've seen it, and it was a bit quiet on here anyway

As per title anyone got any Grolsch style swing top beer bottles lurking in a corner somewhere that you don't want?

or even any of those 5 litre aluminium mini kegs would be useful

or Cornelius keg like pepsi and coke etc get delivered to pubs in.

I'm making small experimental batches of all grain beer and all I have is plastic bottles at the mo and plastic seems wrong to me and I don't like capping bottles, swing tops or kegs are easiest. Thanks.

Are these experimental batches designated for the bbb by any chance?
FOC water tests by Sandy brae or Karl Fischer for forum members.

They are only 1 gallon batches so I doubt they will last that long Dave, but if I find a nice one I make make a bigger batch for the BBB, I've done a couple of blonde ales and a couple of wheat beers and I'm just putting a Guinness clone recipe together for a future test batch.
