I use multistage pumps and consequently the mixing is quite aggressive too. After condensing excess meth off I pump into a drum and air bubble hard until it cools, then bubble very gentle for a couple of days just to keep it turning over - this results in lovely clear fuel. I suspect the turning over lets all the small bits of soap bump together better than if just stood static.
