Bakersafe immersion element

What temperature range are these elements?

There are no markings on the thermostat so just trying to gauge where about 50deg would be.

boil your kettle
tip hot water into a mug
put in thermometer
add cold / wait till its 50c
put stat in water
turn dial till you hear it click

there will be some hysteresis but it will get you pretty much as close as any other method

Ambient to infinity and beyond.

Use a thermometer to set the thermostat but as Julian said there is a fairly large hysteresis.
