Must be summer
« on: June 21, 2015, 02:56:52 PM »
The 180l of solid oils that have been sitting around getting in the way all winter have melted, I thought I was going to have to heat them to get into the processor, happy days!

Also fixed the roof on the outbuilding so it doesn't leak any more.  Had to take the ridge tiles up to do it and broke another tile in the process, and the boy dropped and broke a tile because it had a spider on, but it got done in the end :)

Am l missing something here, are there any advantages in using a window for solids?

My filter pump is running cowling-less at the moment (keep meaning to print a new one), and, well... the discharge pipe popped out of the drum I was filling and you'll never guess where it ended up pointing,

I was covered head to toe, as was everything else in the shed.

I've spent a whole afternoon cleaning up...

So leaks pretty much everywhere then?

You should have left the leaking roof to wash the bio off the inside of the shed.

Heh yes you're right - at least the roof timbers in that area won't rot anytime soon!  Bit flammable though...
