« on: May 12, 2015, 11:49:18 PM »
seeing as i had no choice, i bought this the other day...

full service history, just short of 67,000 miles, not a mark on it and best of all....

this....

the sharp eyed among you would recognize the good old OM602LA

runs on anything runny enough to get down the lines

now, the down side.....

i bought a car with this colour interior.

for collecting WVO in.......

this was the musso boot after just one year......

so, after hunting round i found this.....

http://www.boot-buddy.com/all-products/versaliner#tab-spec-tab

looks ideal so i rang them....

no we dont have the rextons measurements on file.......

and no, they wont let me provide them.....

they insist on doing it themselves......

in worcester.....

so, they wont sell me one as i cant use a tape measure......

fuck em.....

A few years ago I had the same issue in the back of a Volvo.

I put down a pond liner, then layed up fibreglass over the top. When set, it was a perfect boot moulding. A bit of trimming here and there and a coat of left over epoxy floor paint and it ended up looking very smart.

i thought about that reckless, , but it will need to come out, and the hole isnt as big as the inside.

it will only be used for an hour on a friday so needs to fold away.

off to buy a pond liner, thanks for the tip ;)

I used a table cloth (pvc type thing) for our last car.

Now i just try to stop it dripping out the bottom, least the neighbours raise eyebrows...

One problem
If you do get a spillage, it's gonna spill out of the boot end >:(

I don't get spillages  :o

when I collect the drums the lid is wrapped in pallet wrap so they cant leak

this is just to stop the dirt transferring from the bottom and the sides of the drums

As soon as I posted that I thought "I f****** jinxed myself now".

like I said it's more the s*** on the bottom of the drums with chefs can't get oil through  a 12 inch opening. luckily I don't deal with cubbies just 60's and the most I ever collect any time is 5 so they all lock each other in place.
