inspection light
« on: April 22, 2015, 10:21:20 PM »
I went to halfords for a new screw in 12v 50w bulb for my inspection lamp and they've stopped selling em, been getting em from there for years, anyway I've searched high and low and cannot find these bulbs anywhere,

I can find new inspection lamps that take the same screw in bulbs, but they don't come with bulbs supplied, so someone must supply the bulbs for people buying the lamps.

started thinking it may be easier to just get a new inspection lamp, but the choice is too much, low energy, flouro, led, halogen, chargable, etc there are some interesting looking led ones but I need to see them in the flesh.

But after all that waffle, does anyone know of a source for 12volt 50 watt es bulbs, or can you recommend a new inspection lamp that aint too expensive.

they are the ones, I tried 12 volt 50 watt es bulb and nothing, didn't think to try just 12v 50w!
Ordered.

Richard, I tried touring round all local outlets in vain on Saturday.

They are. A mate has one, I think his was more like £45 to £50. Seemingly indestructible, and he does try. Rechargable, with variable brightness. Mega piece of kit.
