facet pumps

x post the other forum.
the needle valve on my oil burner needs replacing. rather than buy another one for £50 i am thinking of maybe using a facet pump instead not sure how they work do they pump a measured amount of fuel per pulse, like the eberspacher ones? if so that is ok as i have a rlay timer circuit that sends a pulse for a fixed time. i can vary the mark space ratio easily. also are they bio proof?

Hi Bob, not sure of the answer to your question but I have one of these:

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Product.do?method=view&n=1542&g=255648&p=255649&c=215&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Base&utm_campaign=Fuel%20Pumps&gclid=CKyOno7F7sICFQgcwwod-lkARA

If you want I can send it to you and you can try it out, if it works you can keep it, if not you can post it back.
