genny in tank filter problems
« on: October 29, 2014, 02:10:39 PM »
just started to run my 5kva genny on bio,and the intank filter seems to be dissolving. i had this problem with vegoil and acetone last winter. rather than keep replacing the filter which is a pain as i have to remove the tank and undo 2 bolts to change it, i was going to fit one of those inline filters instead. does anyone know if they are bio proof?

If you're talking about the cheap plastic ones on ebay then yes they are.

Get the ones with the plastic gauze though, not the paper.
