What should I be aware of?
« on: October 17, 2014, 06:14:43 PM »
Evening experienced Biodiesel users.
I have come to the conclusion that I will be part-exing my 320 in the near future.
This is a typical example ( http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201409197527457/usedcars?logcode=visc )  of what I'm looking for.
Does anyone have any input as to what I should be aware of when running one of these LCs on B100?
Thanks.

I have little input as I've never owned one, but welcome to the wiki and forum.

I'm sure it'll be fine but on B100, some one with more knowledge than me should be able to help shortly, however there's one listed here ... http://www.biopowered.co.uk/wiki/Members_vehicles_running_biodiesel_or_vegetable_oil  owned or previously owned by a top rate engineer.  I'm sure if there were any issues he would have found them.

Buy an 80 series instead. Zero risk of a bio complaint.

I have looked for the 80 & 100 series but I've not come across any with around 100K miles on the clock and 8 seats, preferably leather, as leather is more durable.
I'm actually looking to have this as a keeper, not to be sold on...and I do actually need 8 seats. :)

Yeah, it is a bit of a drinker but I hope to put a plan in place to ensure I don't run out.
