polymerisation INSIDE injectors.

i sent off my injectors to diesel bob last week as i had a terminal case of diesel knock.
i gave him a call after a few days to see how things were going.....
me - hi, im calling about the 5 musso injectors...
them - oh. thats you is it?
me - err, yes?
them - we are just putting them in the sonic cleaner............for the fourth time.......
turns out the veg oil had polymerised inside the injectors and inside looked like superglue.
all sorted now though.

They're using the wrong method to remove polymerised wvo, finish dishwasher powder in boiling water, fantastic results.

I wonder what caused the polymerisation? Is it that the injectors get particularly hot and it accumulates on the inside?
How are you planning to stop it happening again?

just taken it for a quick blast and its a lot more responsive.
no slight flat spot as the turbo spools out.
well chuffed.
Diesel bobs was great to deal with. very easy to chat to on the phone and delivered when they said they would.
excellent company .

Yeh, you strip the Injector and boil the parts, it only takes a few mins.
