As a rabid anti landrover type person, I'll not comment, but they do say the pumps are weak on the duratorqe engine, along with the dual mass fly wheel, and most of the rest of it........
If you are interested in what seems to be a fairly tidy Freelander, my Sisters Husband has one for sale. Y reg, good ticket, a few minor problems, IIRC. It does look very tidy.
He wants about double what similar ones are selling for, but might have to adjust his ideas shortly. It's not got the duratorqe engine.
I will say one thing about them, the fuel filter is mounted somewhere around the rear wheel arch, and is so awkward to change that not even the most passionate landrover enthusiast could claim it was a good idea.
First thing I would do is cut it off and fit something sensible under the bonnet.
