Do you think it would take hot water?

Mmmmm, now there's a thought.

How hot do you think it'll get?

Are we boiling Womble this year as we didn't manage to incinerate him last year?

I'm not happy, today I've been told that due to being short staffed I can't have any time off work for the BBB.

So I'll only get there Friday evening.

So very limited Womble bashing this year, it just aint fair.

What am I going to do for entertainment now.

Those quick set pools (the ones with the inflatable ring around the top) are rubbish. I had one and it didn't last more than a couple of weeks. Some air leaked out of the ring and that is the only thing that holds up the pool. The next thing was a loud woosh as 3000 litres of chlorinated water rushed off down the garden.
That was with very light use and cold water.

We then got a steel framed 10' X 30" pool. That is 1000 times better. It lasted all last season and we have just put it up again now and it's still perfect.
I have that one heated and last year the water got to 40C one day (faulty thermostat).
You can buy them from Amazon for £90 or therabouts for the 10' one.
They also do 12', 15' and 18' diameters and depths up to 48"

I may only get there Friday evening but I'll be staying until Sunday.

So you still have the normal annual Womble bashing opportunity, but sadly (for you) not an extended one.

However I do understand that you don't have that many annual Womble bashing opportunity's left do you, so you need to make the most of the Womble bashing season while you can.

Anyway three days is enough time to play out what ever it is your evil twisted mind can come up with, or you would have thought so anyway, but looking back over the last few years your mind and mouth have written checks that the body just can't cash.

Now repeat after me, I'm old and week, my knees are bad.................................

I don't claim to be big or clever, that would be stupid, only the short get employed at my place.

We had one and that lasted the summer with no special care, we think the fox got it in the end (obviously chewed by something).

The skip idea I was thinking about, it would have pretty bad heat loss wouldn't it?

So what is the plan, are we going to revert to digging a hole?

Depending on depth I would have thought that some shuttering ply and 4x2 with ratchet straps to support would be a fast and cheap way to go. Add some styrene or kingspan and it would be well insulated. Line with polythene or butyl.
At two for deep only two sheets are needed for 8x4.

Oh come on sort yourselves out I had my anual bath, of course in setled filterd wvo . Yesterday in anticipation . And now I see you have .
Like all commitys run out of ideas and reached an impass right at the last moment as the good Lady linda said to me poor demented lady that she may be.

" With all the oversized brains of you lot in atendance and your pre proven abilitys to make fings work she belives she is not asking to mutch "

Dont prove her wrong . If you lot dont get this right
I can see her enthusiasm for the BBB waining after all in ten years SHE HAS NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING .
whist puting up with a load of nutters decending on HER field every year with very good grace .

At least I would Expect a 3 foot deep square hole in the ground lined fistly with newspaper and old capet to enshure no punctures
then lined with visquen Blue preferably  the thicker the beter. The corners are dead easy to fold .

Good greif use your heads make a decision and get on wiv it .

I will now but out as I was told my help was not requierd on this project .

But to my MIND THE SELF ELECTED COMMITY SEEMS TO BE CHIKENING OUT AT THE FIRST OPORTUNITY.
SO GET A GRIP.
