knightly, I hope you strung him up, after checking the forklift was OK of course.

Maybe it's back to a circle of straw bales, lined with a tarp, and rope around the outside to keep everything in place.
Quick, easy n cheap.

Yes let him near it, but only if it involves roof beam and a chair  ;)

I posted too slowly.

How about buying a scrap car, sabre saw/grind the roof including pillars off, remove the seats and gearstick, line with old carpet and pond liner to give an instant automotively-themed hot-tub?  Just don't let anyone open the doors.

Transit's no good, we need something without holes in it.

I've just caught up with this thread, I've been working like mad whilst its there and been well knackered most nights, I've had an easier day today so I'm just about with it.

shame about the tank Alan, it sounded just right, so dunno what to suggest now, its not the end of the world if it doesn't come together, but lets keep our thinkin hats on and our eyes keen whilst out and about lest we spot something suitable or inspirational. 8)

I've been on ebay looking for something which would work but can't find much that would fit in :-(

p.s. I've got a full roll of DPM which would work as a liner if we could think of a way to fit it so it wouldn't puncture ?

How about if we all chip in a fiver and hire a skip for the week  :)

Or buy one and sell it afterwards http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skips-/291490637861?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43de322825

I would definitely be up for that.  Great idea.

Or we buy a temporary pool outright for £35?  Can't help feeling that with fire, hot and sharp metal about it might not last though.

Or lay an old heating oil tank on it's side and cut one side off (leaving a bit for a rim of angle for support)?

The pool would be the best bet, when we're finished Chug could use the water for his plants etc.

Do you think it would take hot water?
