Search not working

The search is not working for me, anyone else found this.

I got a bit confused the other evening ... not difficult these days.

I eventually worked it out ... it would seem that the search was only returning results from the thread you have open.

I found that going to the main forum page http://www.biopowered.co.uk/forum/index.php searched the whole database.

I can't remember if it was like this previously or if it's suffering jet lag after its transatlantic trip.

I really have no idea how the search is supposed to work.  It sounds like it was designed that way, I don't think it is something likely to be affected by the move - more possibly one of the forum updates we've applied.

Having had a look at the SMF forums, this is intentional behaviour:

- search the entire forum when on the index page
- search within the topic when viewing a topic
- search within a board when viewing a board

Since no-one expects it to work that way by the sound of it, I've knobbled that functionality - now you'll get everything by default - and like it
