I dont know why the price wobbles about so much with Dave - plenty of people on this forum get deliveries for 85, and, i think, one person for 80.  You would imagine that picking up from the yard would be at least the same, if not even cheaper, but, alas, its then 25 or so more (for 5 liters less methanol!)

Im in Highwycombe a few times every year, and could easily buy all my methanol from him if it were a case of just going in and handing over cash.

Wifey phoned Dave last week to order 200 Ltrs of meth. He asked if we wanted it in a drum or 20 ltr  containers. Either way you get 205 Ltrs . So if you wanted a drum to decant I would appreciate the empty as I wanted the containers for other uses.

Nige, I'll take 4 sacks of NaOH if that's ok ?

Alan..are you sure you want to order NaOH from me?  Only reason for asking is that my suppliers price is £27.75 for a sack and Basic are only charging £20

Let me know.

oops, I didn't realise basic were delivering to the field too, so figured the delivery would kill it for me

thanks for the heads up, I'll go with basic then :-)

No worries dude ;D I don't want people paying more than they need to.

I think you need to contact Dave at Basic and put your order in. I know Jules has ordered a couple of bags of KOH from him.
