If Dave is coming I may well order Meth and KOH from him (been meaning to give KOH a go!)

Just need to check my current levels of Meth and see if it will tide me over until the BBB.

With the best part of £24 being tied up in the 8 containers, Dave's methanol is incredible cheap. My supplier what somewhat surprised when I showed him the prices that Basic are selling at. He suspects that the catalyst is being sold below cost price! Get it while you can.

I see that KOH can be got even cheaper on the bay....having said that you need to be in the right part of the country to take advantage of collection options.

Just a little bump for those going or those who wish to make onward transport arrangements for chems at the up coming BBB.

Methanol and powder catalyts are best sourced from Basic...my mans prices are a bit rich. If there is anything special you want then now is the time to shout up. TFR's, wash & wax, disinfectants, bleaches, hard surface cleaners and the like are all in his range.

For those who have ordered can you please have the correct money at the field please. Cheques are acceptable as is cash. Advanced payments can be made to my supplier or to me via BACS.

I spoke to Basic today and ordered two bags of KOH for collection at the BBB. Still getting a load of stuff from Nigel but the KOH price is too good to turn down

Quote
Dave from Basic Chemicals says as in previous years he can supply methanol, KOH and NaOH for folks at the BBB on Saturday

Methanol 200 Litres (supplied in 8 x 25L cubees) = £110
NaOH 25Kg bags = £20
KOH in 25Kg bags = £35

http://www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk/mybbforum/showthread.php?tid=36729&pid=421195#pid421195

Why he delivers 205ltr drums @ between 80 and 85, and yet wants to charge 110 for, basically, pickup, i dont know.

The catalysts are cheap though.

I might ask if I can get a couple of drums delivered there which I can then decant myself.
