gl build
« on: April 07, 2014, 09:06:51 PM »
Have just started building my second gl processor. my first gl had a non return valve on the line that injects the metoxide that i removed to help draw in chemicals. I noticed that in the diagram on the wiki page, no valve is shown. is it needed?
my first had the venturi mounted at the top horizontally, this one is vertical

General wisdom now is that the NRV is not needed.

As for the venturi being vertical or horizontal ... just stop poking the hornets nest!

Venturi alignment unimportant so long as output flow sticks the the sides of the output cone :)

Mine works fine without a non return valve. As for the Venturi, I started off with it mounted horizontally and it didn't suck very well. It worked much better when I moved it to a vertical position.
