Oil from a mosque
« on: February 04, 2014, 08:48:57 PM »
I'm picking up some oil from a mosque tomorrow, this is a knock on collection from an Indian restaurant I do.
Does anyone else collect from a mosque, what is the oil going to be like, what will it have been used for ?

I ask as communication wasn't easy on the phone.

I knew someone would say something like that, didn't have you high up on the list though.

I imagine it'll be like most Indian oil, pretty good!

It maybe vegetarian cooking only, a mate goes to the local mosque on Sundays and keeps asking me to go as he says the grub is excellent.

Collected the oil today, no problems with dress code as I didn't enter the temple it's self.
The oil (just over 110L) is very clean with no BCB's that I can see and liquid, but it does have an orange tinge to it.
The best oil I collect at present.

I was asked to make a donation and some how they got me to agree at £20, but I'm still at a loss as to how that happened, as you all know I'm, er, tight with my money.

Another plus side is I have a lead on another Temple and an Indian restaurant.
About bloody time I got some luck with my collections.

Forget the food, ask for the oil.
