Flippin pants having to hit F5 everytime you click a thread, or post, or make any changes to profile, PM etc.

It's friggin useless on me Aspirin thinggy, I'm really struggling, to the point where I've given up, can't be arsed anymore.

Be patient Pops. Paddy's onto it. He's started a thread to say he's looking into this particular issue. One problem at a time.

I'm back on me lapdog and using the F5 update function, catastrophe averted.

Really pi$$ed off trying now.

I've had the same log on for 7+yrs, now it doesn't work.

Why all the fannying around?

We don't have a swear filter on here, so you can say (type) pissed!

Hell yes!

I've just had a look over there and it seems that Paddy is getting things together.  It's now possible to browse recent posts and jump to the last post in a thread just as on here or as the VOD used to be, so I can see no reason why it would be dead.

Has the number of new posts dropped dramatically?

Not sure about the number of posts, I don't have access to the stats at the moment, but the number of people (both those who log on and guests) on line has increased from around 15 to 20 per day, but this always seem to be the case whenever there are problems on the VOD.

I'm sure there are a number of people wondering why he did (would) not ask Tony for his help.

Whoever does the work will have access to the database password and thus the database contents, PMs, the lot.  I can understand the reticence behind asking someone operating an alternative (if mutually friendly) forum to do that kind of work.

I was under the impression you offered prior to the existence of the wiki.

Either way, you're still a known quantity for free, as against an unknown quantity at cost.

Makes mental note,  Tony is free and a reputable quantity.
